Harmony’s Perspective: How ICT Empowers My Life as an ABM Student

Technology has become an important part of how students learn and connect with the world today. As an ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management) student, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) helps me understand business, finance, and management in a more practical way. Through the internet and digital tools, I can easily access lessons, research  and real-life examples that improve my knowledge and decision-making skills.

ICT can greatly change both my life and the community because it makes information easier to access and communication faster. With the help of technology, students like me can learn skills that are relevant to the modern business world. As someone studying ABM, I believe I can contribute to society by using digital tools to help people understand basic financial management, budgeting, and business planning. In the future, I hope to help small businesses grow by using online platforms for marketing, digital record-keeping, and financial organization.

As a student today, I usually access information through educational websites, online videos, and learning platforms provided by our teacher. Sometimes my teacher in e-tech use an online quiz platforms such as Wayground during summative test, and I also create quizzes using Gizmo as a tool for reviewing. These tools help me review lessons, test my understanding, and make my learning more interactive. ICT also teaches me to be responsible when using information by making sure that the sources I use are credible and reliable. In my daily life and in my chosen strand, I integrate ICT by using it to organize my school tasks, collaborate with classmates, and complete projects related to business and finance. Tools such as spreadsheets, presentation software, and communication apps help me become more productive and better prepared for real-world work in the future.

Overall, ICT empowers me not only as a student now but also for my future work. It allows me to gain knowledge, develop practical skills, and connect what I learn in school to real situations in society. By using technology responsibly and continuously improving my skills, I believe I can contribute to the growth of businesses and help create a more informed and financially aware community.
